The Peak Active Advisory Moderate Conservative Strategy

Investment Objective:

The Moderate Conservative Strategy is designed for clients with below‑average risk tolerance who seek a balance between capital preservation and moderate growth potential. In favorable market environments, this strategy emphasizes stability while allowing for measured participation in equity markets, while during neutral and adverse markets it maintains increased exposure to fixed income, cash, and cash alternatives to help reduce volatility for investors with intermediate time horizons or those seeking modest growth.

Strategy:

The Moderate Conservative Strategy is managed using Peak Horizons Capital, LLC’s proprietary Trend Driven Tactical Asset Management approach. The firm evaluates market conditions using both technical analysis (including market price trend, breadth, momentum, and sentiment) and fundamental analysis (including interest rates, central bank policy, inflation, GDP growth, and geopolitical factors) as part of its overall portfolio management process.

The strategy is positioned in alignment with long-term (months to years) and intermediate-term (weeks to months) market trends. Individual positions within the strategy are then managed on a short-term (days to weeks) basis, allowing for tactical adjustments based on changes in market conditions.

Approximate Allocations in Favorable Market Conditions:
Approximately 40% in equities (including ETFs, ETNs, stocks, and mutual funds)
Approximately 60% in bond funds (ETFs and mutual funds), fixed income, cash, money markets, and/or cash alternatives

In neutral or uncertain (sideways) markets, the strategy may reduce equity exposure from favorable market levels and increase allocations to defensive positions such as cash, money market instruments, or short-term fixed income, depending on market conditions and portfolio positioning.

In adverse (downtrend) markets, the strategy adopts a more defensive stance and may increase allocations to cash, money market instruments, or short-term fixed income. In some cases, the strategy may move up to 100% into defensive positions as part of its defensive positioning approach.

The Moderate Conservative Strategy is monitored daily, and adjustments are made in response to changing market conditions. Tactical reallocations may temporarily shift asset class or sector weights based on changes in market conditions. All accounts linked to the Moderate Conservative Strategy are managed to reflect the corresponding model allocations , subject to client-specific restrictions, implementation timing, and other account-level considerations.

Your portfolio deserves precision.
